Janea had the honor of capturing an engagement session for two people whom she stills keeps in contact with today. Watching the sparks fly between the couple from behind the lens, forever impacted her soul… The goal for Shutter & Stone, Photography, is to create artistic and timeless images for you and your loved ones to cherish for a lifetime.
Janea & Kate have some wonderful advice:
Do your homework! There possibilities are endless in creating the day of your dreams. Are you a bride who wants 14,000 foot mountains surrounding you? You and your fiance standing as close to the top as possible, saying your vows with nobody for miles around? Or are you envisioning a beautiful venue, decorated from floor to ceiling with your most favorite florals and DJ filling that gorgeous venue’s airwaves with love? Websites like Pinterest (which are amazing!) fail to mention that several of the wedding ideas featured come with hours upon hours of planning an coordinating with other vendors. It is very important as a bride that you figure out what you need to do, and who you need to hire to help you create the wedding of your dreams. Elopements included! Your photographer and officiant know designated areas and how to obtain permits, or which time of day is best for the most romantic light. Remember! Like doctors, and accountants… there are reasons why professional wedding vendors exist :).
