Vendor Spotlight: YMCA of the Rockies-Estes Park Center

The YMCA of the Rockies has been a part of Estes Park since the 1890s. In 1920 the historic Mountain Side Lodge was constructed by John Timothy Stone. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Department of the Interior. Today, the lodge is now our most popular wedding site because of the incomparable views and rustic aesthetic. In addition, we are proud to offer two other outdoor ceremony sites, three indoor ceremony sites, and a total of five reception and rehearsal dinner sites.

YMCA of the Rockies offers Ceremonies, Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners, Lodging and Officiants

Meet Ashley Montano of YMCA of the Rockies! Ashley has a fantastic “EPWA Pro Tip” for all of her couples: “Plan at least a year in advance. And have Fun with it!”

Ashley loves that she has the opportunity to work with so many amazing vendors.

“The Estes Park Wedding Association allows our venue and brides to work with the best artists in the business! We are all creative beings that strive to make each and every wedding magical. I am never bored!”

Ashley’s favortie wedding memory is one that all vendors wait for. This past summer, an elk interrupted a ceremony at the YMCA’s Mountain Side Chapel. It made for great photo opportunities for the couple, and Unforgettable Memories.
